Graduation with Honors Distinction requires each student must complete a total of 15 honors credit hours for the Bumpers College Honors Program. Each student must complete 9-12 credit hours of Bumpers College Honors courses or Honors courses in any other college, and 3-6 hours of thesis credit with a faculty mentor. All incoming freshman are required to enroll in the AFLS 1023H (Bumpers College Honors Program Perspectives) course. All Bumpers College Honors students are required to complete the AFLS 3413H (Proposal Development and Research Methods) before the completion of 90 credit hours. Students are encouraged to take Honors courses in other colleges. Enrollment in the Bumpers College Honors Thesis course is by permission only. Please complete the request to enroll form and obtain the signature(s) of your Academic Advisor and Honors Thesis Mentor. The signed form should be returned to the Director of the Bumpers College Honors Program.
