Hello, I'm Braeden Smith, I am graduating this coming May with an animal science pre-vet degree, with a particular passion for working with wildlife and exotic animals. Currently, I'm in the middle of completing my thesis under the guidance of Mrs. Whitehead-Adams. My research delves into examining gender biases among patrons at a zoo, aiming to understand how conservationists can leverage these biases to cultivate greater public interest in wildlife.

Alongside my academic pursuits, I actively participate in various campus extracurriculars. I also dedicate my time to interning at the Northsong Wild Bird Rehabilitation Center and working as a vet tech at a nearby clinic. Wildlife has always been my fervent interest, and I aspire to continue my research while pursuing a career as a veterinarian, specifically focusing on large carnivores abroad.
