Honors Student Mentor Team
The Bumpers College Honors Program student mentor team pairs sophomore, junior, or senior mentors with incoming with first year students to assist with transitioning into college life, provide advice about classes and the honors program, and assist in forming campus connections. Interested current freshmen through juniors are encouraged to apply.
How to Apply
We encourage honors students across all Bumpers majors to apply to join our team.
Applications for the fall 2026 team will remain open through Friday, February 14, 2026. Fill out the online application to be considered. Candidates will be contacted shortly after the application deadline for a 10-15 minute interview with the Coordinator and the Assistant Dean for Bumpers College Honors Program.
Selected team members will need Tuesday/Thursday 11-12:15 open in their fall academic schedule and will enroll in 1-3 honors credit hours of a special topics course. Selections should be announced ahead of registration so team members can plan accordingly.
